Salk AI is an AI-native company building the tools and systems that let a small team produce creative work at a scale that used to need a studio.

Our flagship product, AIReel.co, is an AI video platform that helps brands and creators produce and distribute short-form video across 30+ languages. Alongside it, we run a canvas-based AI ad studio used to generate and iterate on performance creative at volume.

We believe AI augments creative people rather than replacing them. The best output we ship still comes from someone with taste sitting in the driver’s seat.

The Role

We are hiring AI Video Creators and Editors who already know how to make short-form video that performs, and who use AI as their primary production engine.

This is not a role where you wait for a brief and render it. You will own concepts end to end: hook, script, generation, edit, sound, and the retention curve that comes out the other side. You will produce a high volume of Reels, Shorts, and TikToks for our own brands and for clients, and you will be measured on how those videos actually perform.

If you have been quietly building an AI video workflow in your spare time and want to do it full-time with real distribution behind it, this is the job.

What You'll Do

• Concept, script, and produce short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) for Salk AI, AIReel, and client brands
• Build and edit videos using AI generation tools as the core of your workflow, not as a garnish
• Write and test hooks. The first two seconds are the job.
• Cut, pace, and sound-design videos for retention, not just for polish
• Produce at volume. Think multiple finished videos per week, with variants for testing.
• Adapt creative across languages and markets using our multilingual pipeline
• Read the performance data (retention, watch time, shares, saves, CTR) and feed it back into the next batch
• Develop repeatable creative systems and templates so good output stops being a one-off
• Stay current on new AI video, voice, and image models, and pressure-test which ones are actually worth using

What We're Looking For

Non-negotiable

• Prior hands-on experience creating or editing video. This is a hard requirement. Portfolio or reel required — no portfolio, no application.
• Demonstrable experience producing short-form video that performed — views, watch time, follower growth, or paid results. Bring the numbers.
• Working fluency with AI video generation tools (Veo, Kling, Runway, Sora, HeyGen, or equivalents) and a real understanding of their limits
• Strong editing fundamentals in at least one professional editor (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut, or CapCut Pro)
• An instinct for hooks, pacing, and retention that you can explain, not just feel
• Comfort with speed. You can go from idea to published cut in hours, not weeks.

We'd also love to see

• Experience with AI voice and audio tools (ElevenLabs, Suno, or similar)
• Experience with AI image generation and prompt craft (Midjourney, gpt-image, Nano Banana, Flux)
• Motion graphics, sound design, or color grading depth
• Multilingual content experience, especially Hindi, Marathi, or Arabic markets
• A personal channel or account you have grown yourself
• Experience producing paid social creative and reading ad performance data
